Thomas Hill's pieces are made using mild steel wire of various gauges with additions of copper and brass sheet and copper meshes.The colour is added with enamel paint, which is applied to the metal while it is hot, building up thin layers with additions of metal pigment. The joints are soldered with silver solder. Thomas was trained as a jeweller at Middlesex University in London and currently lives and work in San Francisco,California.
