Markus Moser is an artist living and working in Upper-Austria, creating sculptures made of wire for the last few years. He recently opened a showroom for his work in the village of Scharnstein - his long lasting dream.
Markus says about his work: What drives me is the joy to work with illusions. It is the fun to delude and to astonish. Metal wire encloses empty space and thus creates a three-dimensional object. Those objects appear like drawings made of metal, like two-dimensional projections. Only at a second glance the third
dimension is revealed, it is an optical delusion. The wire lines can trick us, they trick the eye and force it to perceive the lines as an object. When
metal wire encloses empty space illusion becomes reality.
