Lead & Light

If you're planning to solder wire, you'll find that the sort of soldering irons designed for stained glass work are much better suited to the work than smaller irons designed for electrical work. Lead & Light stock everything you need, from the iron itself (75 or 100watt, depending on your wallet), 50/50 tin-lead solder (which is sold by weight, 1/4 - 1/2 Kilo should be fine as an amount to get started with) and a small bottle of safety flux (which can be diluted half and half with water).
